Faberdashery is probably one of the most well-known brands when it comes to PLA filaments. While offering a wide range of colors including metallics, pastell tones and clear filaments, we are looking at a decidedly premium price range at around 63€ per kilogram. And i don’t think there’s a single color tone in there that i wouldn’t enjoy printing.
When it comes to print quality, Faberdashery PLA settles in at a total of 17 out of 20 points with repeatable results. At the usual 210C and the 55C heated bed, there is no trace of warping or other challenges while printing. Strength tests are perfectly average with a combined rating of 47kg, as well as the heat resistance with very little strength left after being dowsed with boiling water.
Overall, Faberdashery PLA is an excellent choice if you are going for optically spectacular prints, but might be a bit too expensive for everyday use as many other filaments, albeit with a smaller selection of colors, manage to deliver a comparable performance at a much lower price.
